70 min run. really tough today but the team made me stay up in there, felt like i was just slamming my feet into the ground to keep moving forward and i tried to make sure my form would make it easier but i think i was tensing up in many places. overall it was a pretty good long run but not the best. it made me stronger tho and thats all i can really ask for.

50 mins. 10 warm, 3 tempo, 3 thresh, 5 cv, 5 cv, 3 thresh, 3 tempo, 10 cool. before practice even started colton threw me a lacrosse stick and so i ran down off the stairs to the field to go play with him, but once i was off the stairs my knee started killing. i kept messing around with colton but whenever i had to run for the ball it would hurt a ton. then we were finally gonna start stretching so i told  cooper about it but said i'll just stretch and start the warm up and see how it feels. it went away basically as i started stretching so that was neat. but while coach was talking about the workout to all of us i was straightening out my leg and seeing what was up, and once it got to a certain point it would start to hurt. i did the warm up and felt fine tho. then we started the workout and everything was going smoothly. nathan was pushing the pace sometimes and so i would try and pull us back so we wouldnt go too fast, but we still ended up going fast quite a bit. after we finished all the cv stuff and moved back onto thresh and tempo i was doing it right on time and everything but my form was getting a little lazy, and so , i think it was the 3rd threshhold but im not sure, my foot was landing more in front of my knee and heel striking and i triggered my knee again. i dropped off to not hurt it and went and told coach that i think i overextended it but it turns out its called hyperextending so that was dumb. but by the time i was telling coach it felt fine again but then i tried to show him what i did and straightened my knee and that hurt worse than when i did it while running so i went and sat down to let it ease again, but it would only hurt for like a minute or two whenever i hurt it so it wasnt that bad of a problem. anyways it doesnt seem like a big problem except when im walking, standing, or pivoting. running is completely fine if i dont run like a fool so i'll just stretch it and roll it and itll be good. i did the cool and went home, good first workout of track season.

96 min run. pretty rough but doable. kinda wasted afterwards but this run was pretty epic and one of my best ever. talked to coach about racism and that was basically awesome. 1 2, 1 3, 1 3 pick ups.

45 mins today. i felt really out of it today and like i needed to take it easy, and i fell off for a second but then i said if im really feeling it i can take the shorter minutes today but i still have to run like a man so i cut across the desert at one part so i could stay near the team.

95 mins. first 35 mins kinda sucked but then after that was cheese and we had 3x4 at easy tempo, 1x10 at tempo, and 1x5 at threshhold. pretty lit stuff and we had to loop it around the school like twice because we had 15 mins left about the time we got back.

45 mins. took the lower end today cuz i was feeling dead tired and once we hit the loose sand my i felt like all energy was being robbed. i can usually push through tiredness and i probably could have today but it was also nice to take it just a little shorter.

30 mins ish, idk the distance. After being sick most of last week yesterday was probably the worst and I felt like doing anything would suck. My mom made me stay home from church and I took naps and stuff to get better and so this morning I woke up and felt still not not sick but better. Last week I powered through most of the runs except a few were really rough so I was just gonna try and power through this one but I got real dizzy right at the beginning and it didn’t help that. I was having coughing fits every minute or so. Anyways I’ll probably move my long run to Saturday and the rest of the week I’ll try and get feeling better and my runs in as listed

90 min run. first 40 minutes were really sucky because when my alarm went off this morning i did not want to get up at all and that carried into the run. but then once we hit the neighborhoods up past the maverick it was good and we did the easy tempos and tempos and threshold workouts, except just before the second tempo i told the 5 guys that were still left with us that i was gonna hit the porta pottie so they should start the tempo and then flip at some point and come back and get me. i wasnt in there for very long and got out and caught the team with 2 mins left of the tempo and then the threshold was pretty queso. i hadnt talked much for the whole run and it was just me logan mikey alex nathan and julien so when we DI looped it i told them the tyson and kyndra story so that was fun.

25 morning run. left hip is hurting and feels kind of like a bruise but it isnt one. first half before flipping it killed but it loosened up on the way back. talked about whether it is okay to lie or not and wondering if God lies. Pretty neat stuff some would say.

91 minute run, 13 miles. julien and i went to the bathroom (not together but we saw each other there) at sullivan park around the 2nd set of 7 mins at tempo. we came out and went back up into those neighborhoods where the abels live and we never ran into the team but we went back behind shinobe kibe on the dirt trail for our 5 mins of threshold. julien said we had about 15 mins left when we flipped and i could tell we were both tired and wanted to slow down on the way back but we wouldnt do that in front of each other so we went back at sub 7 ish pace. didnt realize the run was supposed to only 85 mins.

25 min afternoon, 3.5 miles. wasted but also i was fine. ran with rylee and talked about whether i can call chicks hot or not and also just boys and girls (hehe)

showed up late to morning practice but got my 50 mins run in, but when i got back the level 4s still werent back. turns out they went 60 but on the blog it still said 50 so i guess the extra minutes from monday are fine. anyways calves are kind of tight but not super tight so honestly i think it's fine

25 afternoon. blogging beforehand but i bet we go arctic circle just like morning run and i'll be just kind of tired but still fine and it'll be a pretty queso run

9 miles, 68 minutes. 15 warm, 5 at easy tempo. 3x1000 at cv pace, hardest part of the workout because it is so long but pretty doable. then 4x400 at 1600 pace, first 2 easy but last 2 were a little rough. went to go hit the 4x200 at 800 and it felt really fast but was still doable. on the last one i practiced booming off of the curve. then on the 300 mikey and nathan got in front of me right in the beginning and i could tell they were like sprinting and going for their all and i didnt want to go around them on the curve because i wouldnt get a big lead so i practiced booming off again and right near the end of the curve i went outside of them and passed them and dug in to try and finish off as fast as i could. wish i was closer to logan so i probably should have gone faster in the first 150 but i still got the power off the curve. 10 min cool

Awesome morning run. Sub 7 average pace. Up passed the light and hill passed dixie rock I was on the outside and people kept kinda getting in my space but i couldn't move over because then i would be off the edge and that was kind of annoying but overall way fun. finished it up with 4x200 and ran those with Julien.
